Formed in 2013 in Brisbane, Australia, OPUS OF A MACHINE has been a presence in the Australian progressive metal scene since releasing their debut album, ‘Simulacra’. The four-piece outfit consists of vocalist and guitarist Mitchell Legg, guitarist Zac Greensill, bassist Dale Prinsse and drummer Trevor Gee. Having shared the stage with the likes of Seether, Caligula’s Horse, Twelve Foot Ninja, Voyager, Klone and Alithia, OPUS OF A MACHINE’s live show is one of stirring dynamics, chaotic energy and unabashed positivity. OPUS OF A MACHINE is a concentrated blend of melodic, guitar-driven progressive rock and delicate, ambient post-rock that is pouring with exciting, powerful rhythmic energy and emotionally engaging harmony.

Returning with their follow up to 2014’s Simulacra, OPUS OF A MACHINE is back with their second album, Stray Fire. Blending hard hitting, blistering riffs with soaring ambience and delicate harmonies, Stray Fire is set to leave a powerful mark in their building discography.
