AlithiA. Prepare for a journey into the exploration of the unlimited possibilities of the mind...

Melbourne’s purveyor of astral space rock AlithiA have become renowned worldwide by both critics and fans alike for their hypnotic live shows and debut record 'To The Edge Of Time'. In October-November 2017, AlithiA embarked on an extensive 30 date tour across Europe supporting Leprous (Norway) and Agent Fresco (Iceland), of which many shows sold out.

Although AlithiA sit amongst the psychedelic, post-rock and prog genres, their sound is not easily categorised. Imagine floating through the cosmos, out of body and out of mind on a space trip shaped by melodies with mutant riffs, driven by tribal percussion and a shamanistic feel which captivates you whole…these are the astral space sounds of AlithiA.

AlithiA’s reputation as a profound, deeply spiritual and entrancing live act has increasingly spread internationally, following recent supports of progressive heavyweights such as The Contortionist (USA), SikTh (UK), Leprous (Norway), Animals As Leaders (USA), Alcest (France), The Ocean (Germany), Agent Fresco (Iceland), Mother’s Cake (Austria), Tides From Nebula (Poland), Vulture Industries (Norway), Dead Letter Circus, Ne Obliviscaris, sleepmakeswaves, and Caligula’s Horse.

The group has fiercely toured Australia - including performances at Bigsound and Progfest (on several occasions) - Europe, and Russia, garnering strong fanbases in each territory. AlithiA have previously completed 4 European Tours, including their most recent EU Tour with Leprous and Agent Fresco in October-November 2017.

AlithiA’s debut record ’To The Edge Of Time', recorded in Budapest, Hungary received rave reviews internationally from prominent media outlets such as Metal Hammer (UK), Prog Magazine (UK), Rock Metal Essence (Italy), Music Waves (France) and many others. AlithiA’s forthcoming sophomore album was recorded in Athens, Greece in late 2016, and was funded by a Possible crowdfunding campaign raising over $10,000.
